We are delighted to announce the launch of our new teaching magazine, BiBloS. Having been in the planning process for quite some time, we were delighted to finally publish the first issue which is available for free download here.
For a while we have been wanting to publish a little magazine both as a means of providing a selection of short articles of interest as well as promoting the work of the Bible School in general. If any of this helps to encourage anyone to engage more with the Biblical text, both through reading and more structured study, then we will have achieved our main aim.
We are currently planning to publish BiBloS three times each year and only as an e-magazine. However, if you know of anyone who would like a printed version, then please feel free to print one for them. We are eager for it to be shared far and wide!
Written primarily by teachers and others working with the School, each issue will have a variety of articles, word studies, reviews and other focus areas. There will generally be a prevalent theme, though not all articles will necessarily adhere to that. Supplementary material is made available on our web site wherever appropriate. The first issue mostly focuses on aspects of the uniqueness of the Bible as a book and includes something of an explanation of the magazine’s title.
