The British Bible School was well represented at the European Christian Workshop in Lancaster this month, where the theme for this year’s event was Peace. BBS teacher and governor, John Griffiths, presenting a series of lessons on Peace in the Psalms and other graduates and governors were present too. John helped to open up the book of Psalms, and selected a number of Psalms in which peace was a prevalent theme.
This workshop/lectureship is in its twelfth year and attracts a number from all over the country. Stephen Woodcock, one of the organisers, is a graduate of the British Bible School. Another graduate of the School, Iain Cameron, was also teaching, presenting lessons on the Prince of Peace.
The event is a good opportunity to catch up with brothers and sisters in Christ from around the country, to encourage each other in our walk with Christ, and to share of ways in which God is using us in his service. It also presents an opportunity to present a little news of what the British Bible School is doing.
Apart from sharing news of our regular activities in teaching and training, we also shared some news of an exciting development taking place next year. We will be publishing details of this shortly, so do watch this space!
