20170916_110907Generally speaking, our training days are not widely advertised as they are usually conducted ‘in house’ and are designed for the benefit of the local assembly of believers. So though you may not hear about them in advance, we are happy to share news of them from time to time, just so you have a better idea of what goes on.

Training was conducted by Patrick Boyns and Mitch Vick who led sessions on:

  • Understanding worship
  • Effective leading in worship
  • Making communion about Jesus
  • Planning for corporate worship/Some good practice

At the very start of the day participants completed a brief survey to help ascertain understanding and perceptions of those present. The results of this helped feed into the sessions during the day.

We had some very useful sessions with some very open and honest discussion which hopefully will feed back into the life and service of this congregation. We are truly thankful for being asked to be a part of it.
